ZS sensors are available in a variety of zone sensing combinations to address your application needs. Combinations include temperature, relative humidity, and indoor air quality (carbon dioxide or VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds)). Built to be flexible allowing for easy customization of what the user/technician sees. Designed to work with all OEMCtrl controllers, the ZS sensor line includes the ZS Base, ZS Plus, ZS Pro and ZS Pro-F.

Occupancy override is simple using the "Manual On" momentary push button on the ZS Pro F. A single push switches the zone to an Occupied mode for a preset period of time. The user can increase or decrease the override time with the up or down arrows, and the LCD displays precisely how long the zone will stay occupied. The occupied time increment and maximum override time are fully adjustable |
Zone setpoints can be changed on the ZS Pro F by pressing the up or down arrow buttons. Setpoint adjust increment amount and the maximum total adjustment are fully adjustable |
Pressing the "Fan Speed" button on the ZS Pro-F incrementally adjusts the fan speed of the unit. The "Clg/Htg Mode" button can be used to select among several zone operation modes that are fully adjustable |
VOCs are Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). OEMCtrl ZS Sensors with the VOC feature actually reacts to all reducing gasses, which is any gas that gives off electrons when burnt, which includes all VOC's. Our sensor will be more sensitive to some of the more irritating ones but that is just a function of the sensing element and why this particular element is used in our sensor. Depending on the source of the information, 5,000 to 10,000 unique Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) exist. VOCs are chemicals that contain carbon and have boiling points below 100 degrees celsius. Most can be vapors at room temperature.

Aliphatic Hydrocarbons. Aliphatic hydrocarbons are flammable hydrocarbons with little or no odor. Such as hexane, paraffin, methane and acetylene. |
Aromatic Hydrocarbons. Aromatic hydrocarbons are flammable hydrocarbons with a discernible odor. Examples are benzene, furan, pyridine, toluene, asphaltene and picric acid. |
